I am able to offer online appointments either by phone or video (Skype, FaceTime etc) to advise and guide you with your medical queries and problems. I can also offer you a 'second opinion' service where I can review your medical notes, results and correspondence and give you advice and guidance on how to best to proceed with any chronic or 'mystery' illnesses that your have been struggling to get answers to your questions.

Dr Christian Jessen is a popular health campaigner who combines his medical career with a successful media career.
He works closely with various charities (including Terrence Higgins Trust, Ditch the Label and Battersea Dogs & Cats Home) to help raise awareness and make health accessible to everyone.
Dr Christian is well-known for presenting Dr Christian Will See You Now and Dr Christian: 12 Hours to Cure Your Street along with the multi award-winning Embarrassing Bodies and Supersize vs Superskinny. He also presented the critically acclaimed documentaries Undercover Doctor: Cure Me I’m Gay, How the Rich Live Longer and co-hosted Drugs Live and Stand Up to Cancer.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Simple! I offer phone or video consultations and you can book these online here: just click on bookings. Or you can see me in person at 69 Wimpole Street by calling 020 7467 3720. I have a great network of specialists to whom I can refer, so if I can't help you directly, then I'll know someone who can. In your appointment we can discuss if I think you'll need any follow-up consultations and help you with tests, treatment options and prescriptions where appropriate.
CAN I GET A SAME-DAY PRESCRIPTION?
It depends. If I know you and your medical history then yes. If we have never spoken then I will want an appointment with you to go through your medical history and current issues and we can make a decision together about what may be the best treatment pathway for you. I will not prescribe controlled substances unless clinically indicated and I have an ongoing therapeutic relationship with you.
WHAT IS YOUR NEW PATIENT PROCEDURE?
Everyone is welcome. I like to get to know you and the details of your particular concerns and conditions. Ideally, if you have had tests and treatments in the past then I would like to see the results of these. Getting hold of a copy of your medical records and forwarding them to me before our appointment would be extremely helpful. If you are unsure about how to go about getting your notes then don't worry, I can advise you during our appointment.
CAN I USE YOUR SERVICE IF I AM OUTSIDE OF THE UK?
Of course! I have patients all over the world and whilst I may not be totally familiar with the healthcare system in your country, the medicine is the same the world over. I speak conversational French, Spanish (and even some Swahili!) but I would advise you to engage an English speaker to help you out during our consultation.
